Posee una piel cerosa y lisa de color verde con rayas longitudinales. La pulpa es de color anaranjada, de textura compacta y a diferencia del Mel\u00f3n Cantaloupe es m\u00e1s tierna, de sabor m\u00e1s dulce, y despu\u00e9s de la recolecci\u00f3n tiene menos vida.
