It has a rounded and flattened shape. It has a waxy and smooth green skin with longitudinal stripes. The pulp is orange in color, compact in texture and, unlike the Cantaloupe Melon, it is more tender, has a sweeter flavor, and after harvesting it has less life. Its weight ranges between 700 and 1500 grams.
